Glen Garioch (pronounced Glen Geeree) is one of the distilleries, along with Bowmore and Auchentoshan, of the Morrison Bowmore group, in turn owned by Suntory of Japan. It was founded in 1797.
From an independent review:
Nose: Fresh with green wheat and white plum. Herbaceous and floral.
Taste: Smooth and suave. Fresh cereal, apple peel and a few drops of lemon.
Finish: Malt, then gently dries , bitterness. Better with a few drops of water.
Comments: A fresh and nice nose ; the mouth is fairly monolithic in comparison.
