Nose: Custard creams, hints of fennel and all spice. Creme caramel. Some dusty notes with some strawberries coming through.
Palate: Very creamy with growing ever changing fruit bursts, limes , satsumas, peaches and solid toffee.
Finish: Developing effervescent fruitiness mingling in a blanket of thick cream.
The distillery was built in 1975 at a cost of £2.5 million pounds to produce malt for the Chivas Regal Blend. This whisky has a growing reputation amongst those lucky enough to find it as a single malt.
