Cask Type: Sherry Butt

Ben Nevis distillery lies at the foot of Britain's tallest mountain from which it takes its name. It is owned by Nikka, Asahi Breweries of Japan. The core range of whiskies is very small with a few limited edition releases in recent years. So we are delighted to offer this bottling together with a Cask Strength 16 year old from Lady of the Glen.

From an independent reviewer: 85 points

Nose: Expressive with roundness and a box full of candied citrus fruit scents with sweet honey.

Taste: Oddly , the touch of mouth proves quite light and supple. The notes evoke sweet spices , bitter orange marmalade and a touch of chocolate milk .

Finish: Average length finish of Venezuelan origin chocolate spice (raw Araguani ) which tend to develop a liquorice touch.

Comments: Good quality / price / pleasure.
