Cask Type: Bourbon Cask
The Girvan Distillery was opened in 1963 and is situated at Girvan in Ayrshire, on the West Coast of Scotland, just down the road from the famous golf course at Turnberry.
The whisky has a mellow bourbon nose, with sweet vanilla and a hint of fruit. Smooth and slightly nutty on the palate, with a lingering warmth, it is a great sipping whisky for after dinner.
This whisky has been bottled at cask strength and without the whisky having been chill-filtered, thus retaining the full flavour of the bourbon cask.
